Bucs sign pair of draft selections

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers began the process of signing their 2013 draft picks on Monday when they inked defensive end Steven Means and running back Mike James to four-year contracts, the team announced.

Means was selected in the fifth-round (147th overall) out of the University of Buffalo, where he started every game his final two seasons, finishing his career with 185 tackles, 29.5 tackles for loss and 18.5 sacks.

James was a sixth-round selection (189th overall) out of Miami, where he started 17 of 50 games and ran 312 times for 1,386 yards and 17 touchdowns and caught 67 passes for 585 yards and five touchdowns.
