ST. PETERS, Mo. (AP) — The Stanley Cup has finally made it to the St. Louis area.
The St. Louis Blues have been around for more than four decades and never won the National Hockey League title. This past season, their rivals did, the Chicago Blackhawks.
St. Charles, Mo., native Brandon Bollig is part of that Stanley Cup-winning team. On Wednesday, he brought the trophy home. It was on display for a couple of hours at the Rec-Plex recreation center in St. Peters.
It's a tradition for players on the winning team to take turns sharing time with the Stanley Cup.
