STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) — Oklahoma State sophomore Marcus Smart fouled out with only two points during the USA's 71-62 victory over Serbia at the FIBA U19 World Championships.
The game was played Wednesday at Prague in the Czech Republic.
The United States won its first five games by an average of 50 points but struggled in the final game of pool play. The Americans were up 56-52 with just over six minutes left but used a 13-7 run to push the lead to double-digits with less than a minute left.
The Americans were the only team to finish pool play undefeated. The USA faces Canada on Friday.
