LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Balloting ends Tuesday for the Lincoln Public Schools District's $153 million bond election.
The all-mail election is asking voters to approve bonds for building an elementary school and a middle school on the southeast side of the city. The money also would provide security and technology updates and renovations at other district buildings.
More than 163,000 ballots were sent out. Marked ballots must be received by the Lancaster County election commission office by 5 p.m. Tuesday.
