AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — The Longhorn Network is turning up on the channel guides of another major cable television provider.
Time Warner Cable has added the ESPN network dedicated to the athletics program at the University of Texas at Austin. The network went live on Time Warner Cable's Texas systems on Friday, in time for Saturday night's telecast of the Texas Longhorns opener against New Mexico State.
Financial terms and other details of the agreement aren't being disclosed.
The Longhorn Network also will carry the Sept. 14 game against Ole Miss and the Nov. 2 game against Kansas, plus exclusive pre- and post-game programming for all UT football games. The net also provides live coverage to UT men's and women's basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, soccer, tennis, rowing, track-and-field and golf.
