LANSING, Mich. (AP) — Michigan businesses can learn about export opportunities at four events taking place this month across the Lower Peninsula.
The Michigan Economic Development Corp. is presenting Global Trade Days events Oct. 14-18 in Troy, Lansing, Grand Rapids and the Traverse City area. The workshops are designed to help companies tap into foreign markets and diversify customer bases.
The events will include presentations from specialists who focus on Canada, Mexico, China, the United Arab Emirates and Brazil. Officials say those nations are among the state's top export markets.
Costs range from $20 to $35 per event.
