CANTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) ó Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man who implied he had a gun during the robbery a suburban Detroit bank branch.
Police in Wayne County's Canton Township say the man passed a note to a clerk at the Comerica Bank branch about 4 p.m. Thursday and demanded money. The branch is inside a Kroger grocery store at Ford and Canton Center roads, west of Detroit.
No weapon was seen. The man left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash, but was photographed by a bank surveillance camera.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Canton police at 734-394-5400. Callers may remain anonymous.
